Need to find a new accountant - How??

So after working for 8 years with an accountant who was a friend of my Father in law and nearing/past retirement, he's now said we've really grown too big and too complex for him to carry on looking after us.

So, we need to find a new accountant but have no idea how, every other professional we've needed we've gone on personal recommendation so I guess PH is as good a place as any to start.

(We're a small limited company based in the Midlands with a PAYE employee in the Travel/Property sector)

Anyone any recommendations?
