Anyone else seen the recent chatter on this?
Seems to be the next big pain in the ass for Amazon sellers - I didnt used to buy cheap cheap barcodes but tended to buy the ones that always made it clear they were new, not generated randomly and GS1 compliant however thats no good either.
Apparently they will be cross checking all UPC codes eventually with the GS1 database.
having checked a few of the owners of my current barcodes its not going to fly - I sell in healthcare and the codes are registered to a confectionary company (the irony)
I am not worried about future listing as I will just subscribe to GS1 direct but very concerned about current listing, just wondering if anyone has dealt with this so far?
