I guess everyone has heard it all before but I suggested to a friend to start a local newsletter to earn a bit of pocket money.

Just thinking of ways to perhaps make it a little different for him and thought about an A6 newspaper. Would that cost a lot to print? Would it be worth printing that small?
I thought it could be thrown into a handbag / back pocket?

Any ideas to stand out?

(NB: I dont think its the best way to earn but do think its an easy way to make a few quid)

Just on a small scale.

Its been a while since I did it but it worked for me (was hard though)

Gathered some local news.
Made a mock up of the newsletter.
Spoke to every shopkeeper and asked if they had offers / news and sold them space at a good rate (cant remember now)
Also did a handy numbers in the back at a cheaper price.
Got it printed at a local printers.
Delivered it to every house in the town. (that was the boring bit)

I did it twice however with a full time job aswell I couldnt keep it up / moved on to other things.

Your right you will never make good money but its an extra bit of pocket money for someone young and looking for another income???
