3 hours more battery life with chip change
Which is all very well, but how on earth you supposed to know if you have 2,4? Someone said it will have the iCloud logo on the box, which mine does, but getting conflicting reports. Anyone have a concrete way of finding out?

I never felt I was having any issues with the original, but felt frisky in the store when I was buying another laptop. It is a lot smoother, and noticeably quicker. Haven't had any safari crashes either, which is nice. Also nice to be able to Skype and FaceTime from my hammock, rather than from the macair. I am happy, and haven't said otherwise, but finding out about 2,4 means I then want to find out how I know what I have. Now as it is a wifi I would imagine it is 2,1, but with this news how would I know? It is a matter of curiosity more than anything else. I am more than happy with my 2. They are normally crash reports so will show up once your ipad crashes.
The hardware model should be listed in any crash report (so if an app crashes that .plist will have it too)
Yup, I've looked through those before when safari was crashing on my fat pad. Also had a look in there for temp info. Thanks for the info. The hardware model should be listed in any crash report (so if an app crashes that .plist will have it too)

I never said you were, but from the comments on some of the articles people are no complaining, or being negative. No-one has said anything close to what you posted. Like them, I was trying to find out the score, and how to find out if you do, or don't have it. 
OK, I'm now convinced you are all talking in some strange code, and I'm the only one without the encryption book.
