Theyve got USB though don't they ?
The Nexus 7 manual (available as a free book from Google Play) only refers to the USB being used for input peripherals, and makes no mention USB storage - various blogs seems to confirm this won't be supported.
Hopefully some bright programmer will come up with a work arround. :-)

How easy is it to get iplayer working on these? I was reading elsewhere that the app doesn't work as it needs flash?

As that will be its primary use it's a bit of a deal breaker!
You can get flash working see crafty link on page 2. I hope that HTML5 comes quick so we can get rid of flash!

That case obscures too much of the bezel, is this a problem?
I have no clue as my tab is due to deliver on 10th Aug Ebuyer! Grrrr I dropped in to my nearest curry and the reply was I think we are getting them after refit, sometime in September!

Asked if any instock in Reading (10miles away), yep 1 store has 2 in stock dont know which model! lol!

To my knowledge the case was designed for Nexus 7 only and its the only one i found with the magnet sleep function. It feels good quality, the bezel top and bottom is about 1cm thick. look the similar to pic of nexus 7.

I ordered one of these cases and got mine on tuesday. For the money i am impressed. access to all button, none of the screen is obscured, holes in the back for the speaker, can plug in cable and headphone. Adds a bit of protection as well and the carbon finish is rather nice
Would of prefered a cover like http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0046HCQX2/ref=... to mimic my kindle but no yet available but at £9 inc p&p couldnt go wrong!

OK have I gone mad?

This is most up to date Google software, I want the olympics app, it says it is not compatible with this version!!!

How can that be?
It needs Flash http://thedigitallifestyle.com/w/index.php/2012/07... so not on jellybean but you can get flash see page 2 of this thread I think it was linked.

Sorry, how do I get flash? Is it from the app store?

That thread earlier that mentions flash seems to be about downloading something to a PC. I don't have a PC here at the moment.

[Edit] next problem, I'm guessing related to the same thing, when I am trying to view a video on the watch series site, they don't work and one says you need at least flash 9 for them to work. But I know they aren't flash as the same kind of videos works on my iPhone?

Sorry not a clue! Haven't got my nexus yet nor am an expert in android. Hopefully BBC sorts out the app for jellybean!

Fair cop I think BBC should of produced a HTML5 version of iplayer long time ago thus getting rid off flash. The hardware is all about what is best for your needs not all going to satisfy all!

Got my 8gb delivered yesterday from google play store 2 days after ordering.

Set up very easy and done last night, my youngest (8) has taken a real shine to it.

Recieved an email on my blackbeard while out today confirming purchases running to $130 for coins in a game, rapidly phoned home to get him off the damned thing. PIN number applied to it now, D'Oh! Bit annoyed about it but there's only me to blame I suppose.
Ouch unlucky on the purchase of the coins! Dam programmer of kids games. Remember a while back in USA law suit v apple about kids game and purchase extras 1 apple owner had over $1.5k on a bill her kid managed to spend!
