Samsung Galaxy S5

The next flagship Samsung mobile is expected to go on sale in March or April. My Nokia Lumia is due for renewal in March, and I'm considering this for the move to my first Android phone.

Official details aren't yet announced but what do the PH massive think? Is this new Samsung going to be worth the wait and the extra cash it'll demand?

I haven't seen another S5 thread about (well, not outside the Audi section) so we'll consider this the official Galaxy S5 thread.

Popped into a store yesterday and was told they'll only be getting this in April. I'll wait for the official launch or spec announcement before deciding whether to save the money and just opt for the S4.

This has been one of the biggest benefits of the Nokia Windows phone I've been using for the past 2 years. The sync between Outlook and all my emails (GMail, Yahoo and Hotmail) has been faultless.

Other users in the office of other platforms (especially IOS) seem to have problems with this.

I'm also decidedly underwhelmed by this phone. I was expecting something more special.
Hopefully the lack of metal case means the price won't be as silly as I was expecting, although that might just be wishful thinking.

Probably because I was hoping for something which would have tempted me away from Nokia Windows. The S5 doesn't.

I don't use a protective cover (ooh, Matron!). What's the point if you're buying a thin, good looking phone and then lobbing it in a thick, ugly plastic or leather case.
As an earlier caller pointed out, plastic cases can be made to feel top quality (as does my Nokia Lumia from which I'm currently posting). The S4 doesn't have that, it always felt like it'd snap if you got too excited with the keypad.

I don't understand how a phone of that size is considered "mobile".
