Do it via the controls on the actual printer, rather than through the PC.
In my experience of networked printers, when (not if) this sort of thing does happen, I usually resort to clearing everything everywhere, and then rebooting stuff until it goes away.
I've tried to do it via the (hardware) printer controls and the software controls. No joy.In my experience of networked printers, when (not if) this sort of thing does happen, I usually resort to clearing everything everywhere, and then rebooting stuff until it goes away.
Looks like it might be a driver reinstal then. It all connected automatically (new laptop) so I will have to figure out how to get it gone, then get it back on!

If you are running windows, go to control panel and then administrative tools, scroll down to print spooler, double click it and press stop. Then reboot the printer and see if the job clears. If it does, then reboot the pc and try the job again.
OK. Control panel on Windows 8.......?kapiteinlangzaam said:
Just do a search for 'services'.
Scroll down to print spooler, stop service, delete print Q, then restart the spooler.
Happens to mine a few times per year. This always fixes it.
Got it! Stopped the spooler. Won't be able to delete the print queue until I get back home to connect to the printer, but I have learned something. Cheers!Scroll down to print spooler, stop service, delete print Q, then restart the spooler.
