Apple - MBP or iMac?

Greetings Folks
Now I no longer need to have a Windows system to keep me upto speed with the trials & tribulations of my support clients (I don't do support anymore
), I'm looking at making the change to Mac.
Why? I like the 'just works' feel, the quality and 'just because'...
But I'm mulling over which way to go. MBP Retina or 27" iMac. I already have iPhone & iPad.
My biz is now centred around Social Media, SEO and similar webby things. I'm not a web designer as such although I do somethimes have to tinker with existing sites.
I need the machine to run all the business stuff like accounts (Cloud based), Spreadsheets, documents etc. Most of the work I do is browser based. Do a bit of photography & video bits but not a huge amount so high power is of a 'nice to have' rather than absolutely essential factor.
I do need to give presentations but could do that (I think) by downloading from an iMac onto the iPad & using an adaptor to drive a projector?
It would be nice to be able to take the MBP to other working locations (Jelly meetups for example) but that's not really an essential if the iMac would be so much better on other fronts.
Your opinions on/or your experiences of the two please folks?
