As the title suggests, is anyone using the DVBLink package for Synology? If so, what DVB-T2 adaptors are you using and how well does the whole thing work streaming to Android devices and/or Windows 7 Media Center? Any experience and pearls of wisdom welcome.

Thanks nik. What are you using to view the feed on the client side? TV aerial proximity not a big deal in my case, my NAS lives in the lounge anyway.

OK just to update the thread, I got one of the recommended PCTV USB tuners and set it up with DVBLink on the Synology, seems to work well. You have to buy the DVBLink source software for aerial TV, and a licence for the EPG, the one I chose then required me to subscribe to the EPG provider's website for a year too, which was all a bit annoying.

However the costs aren't really that big and the whole thing works pretty well. I have the DVBLink software running on an HP Slate 21 Pro, it works well with VLC to render the video. Overall, happy with this as a solution and the wife can operate it which will make my life easier.

Sorry, forgot about the post.

I was using XBMC to display live TV on my TV.

I may revisit this later and get a dual tuner HD one, but at the moment I won't be investing any more time with it.
No worries. Right now the TV tuner drivers from DVBLogic don't work on DSM 5.1 so if you've already upgraded your NAS then you'll have to wait until DVBLogic sort their drivers out anyway. I'm holding off the DSM update until then.
