Hi all,

I'm currently travelling around and have hundreds of photos stored onto my Samsung notepad. Worried that something might eventually happen to the device i realised i should back them up somehow.

I realised i had Dropbox on my device so i uploaded nearly a thousand photos to it which worked well and was a relief to have them saved elsewhere. After having added more photos to the notepad i wanted to sync the gallery to Dropbox but now it doesn't work/do anything anymore ?

When i turn on 'camera upload' i get the message 'looking for new photos to upload' but then nothing happens. Why isn't it finding any new photos that i've added ? They are in exactly the same place in my Samsung notepad - the gallery.

Frustrated i thought i might give GoogleDrive a go somi downloaded that, it seems that the only way to upload a file is individually - what ?! I'm going to have to select every photo individually over a thousand times ?! This can't be right ?

If anybody has any other solutions that will simply allow me to back up photos (mostly) EASILY please let me now !!

OP - have you run out of space in Dropbox? 1000 pics x 2MB = 2Gig which is the free amount you get?

I use DB all the time on a pro-account and it is seamless. Save stuff on device and it just deals with all of it in the background.
Only used 23% and it seems to have stopped, can't work it out.

Have now started Google+, thanks everyone for the suggestion.

Ok i've been giving Google+ a try over the last couple of days.

It displays a list of thumbnails which i believe are most of my photos - is this what it thinks it needs to upload ?

It started at '4,110 photos to load' when i thought i only had a thousand or so, then the number slowly dropped to 4 then went back up again to a thousand now hovering around 7/800, what is it doing ?

Some thumbnails have a small cloud symbol in the bottom righthand corner, is this ones that have already been uploaded or are waiting to go ?

After a couple of days i get messages '3 awesome photos upload, 11 ready to share'.

Eleven ? Eleven ready to share after all this time ?!

Its already presented with little stories to share with people with more photos than that ?

Sorry for all the questions but i just don't understand what its trying to do, every piece of back up cloud software has so far has been pretty sh*t.
