Well, Apple have finally removed the Classic iPod from the Store. I can totally see why they have done it as most want everything to be on one device but I loved having something that was just the right size, tons of storage space and had great battery life.

Also, I think it's a shame that Apple no longer sell anything with the clickwheel, that was a fantastic interface.

I guess I'll have to look after the one I have now!

Touch goes up to 64GB.

They still have some classics in stores today... so if you want one, buy one quick.
This is the thing though, I have a smartphone so I don't need or want a touch. However, I don't want to keep music on my phone because of storage space and battery issues.

This is why I liked the Classic so much, it had a huge capacity(I have 80GB of music and audiobooks), a decent battery life and most importantly it was simple and really good at doing what it was supposed to do, play music.

I think I will go and get a spare alright, just in case.
