What MP3 / music player? Ipod or...?

I had an Ipod Classic 80gb model, which unfortunately was stolen.

I'd like something similar with the big capacity, but the current Ipod Classic range seems really expensive now - over £300 on Amazon for a 160GB version. All of the others are used versions of older models.

Are there any other high capacity players that anybody can recommend, or something that I can expand with memory cards? I'm currently using my wifes old Ipod Nano, but it's only got 8GB, and the battery has seen better days.

I've got an iPhone ...

I saw the sansaclip on Amazon, seemed to get mixed reviews, but if it plays music well I don't need lots of other features !
