need help with using tv's as dual monitors
Discussion
I have recently built up my pc but having some trouble with my monitor set up.
I currently have 2 identical 32" Tv's, i wish to use both in a dual monitor set up but i just cannot get the second monitor to work. at best i got it working but at 1080 resolution it was centred in the screen and it doesnt stretch to the outside.
My motherboard has 3 outputs, VGA, DVI-D and HDMI,
Monitor 1 is currently connected by VGA to VGA and works perfectly at 1080p,
Monitor 2 i tried HDMI to HDMI, this is where trouble starts, I cant get it to fit the screen, I tried changing aspec ration on my tv, There is a zoom setting but it then cuts off the edge of the screen.
I tried using a DVI-D adapotor to VGA on 2nd monitor but that didnt work at all,
From searching the internet mainly people have been fixing this by ati catalyst control centre, But as i am using onboard graphics it doesnt come up with any of the settings i need. Im starting to get annoyed with ordering cables and adapters that arent helping anything.
Anyone ideas?
