Don't want an Iphone 6 but..................

Wifey does! My contract is up on my Iphone 5 but want to keep it. What do I need to do to keep my 5 and give Her the 6? She uses my old 4 with a works sim and needs to keep the sim.

I'm on Orange but I think She's on O2 so does this mean a jailbreak?

After trying all the others Three has been brilliant for me, data is important to me now and I travel all over the UK and only lost signal once or twice. Far better than Orange, trounces Vodafone and O2.

Plus they don't lock their phones.

Oh, and unlimited everything, calls and data included abroad, and decent if you have an issue. I bought an Xperia Z1 and regretted it, let me swap for a 5s for a very reasonable price after 4 months.

Worth looking at.

Don't think Orange will be able to match the 'feel at home' abroad thing. Basically is free data, calls etc in 11 countries.

My only venture 'abroad' is the odd road trip over the bridge into Engerland so not bothered about that. Anyway I will be staying with Orange as it's the only network that works indoors in my village. Wifey will use her companies sim in the new iphone6 (if i get it). So unlocked Three could be the way to go - will speak to Orange and see what they say.

As usual PH shows the way and i welcome any more input.

Many thanks for the info especially the Three unlocked option. So I scrap Orange, sort 6 out with Three (keeping my number), give phone to Wifey, unblock my Orange 5 and wang in the Three sim? No headache/issues?
