Photoshop request

Hi,

I'm new to all this so sorry for creating another thread when there probably is one for this sort of topic. I am looking for some clever people to work a bit of magic on a logo idea using photoshop do you reckon you guys could help? My father in law has just started hydrodipping at his company and wants to have a separate logo for that part. I have some ideas but can't get what is in my head onto an image. I want to use his current logo and have a splash of water underneath. I would then like the top later of water to be carbon fibre, splashing up onto the logo, so some of the logo is carbon fibre too with the rest being black. I would also be happy for you guys to come back with any ideas similar. An example is below but Sorry for the poor pics as they are done using printed images and cutting and sticking(my photoshop skills really aren't up to it) any help would be greatly received.
