Noise cancelling earphones
Discussion
Thanks, but I can't be doing with the bulkiness of the over ear ones, and I really can't stand the 'in ear' ones. Looks like I'm trying to find something which doesn't exist
ETA - But they are cheap! Might get some to try at that price.....I just have never got on with the down the ear canal ones!

Sorry guys, I know you're trying to help, but aren't these all 'down the canal' types which I hate, or am I missing something?
The iphone type ones just fit into the ear without actually poking down the ear hole.
If they don't exist, is there something which can make my existing earphones into noise cancelling?

I'm in the same boat as you OP in that I don't like the ones that go right into or over the ear but I do want some peace on the plane/train. I tried some of these QC20is and they are great - very comfortable and they sort of "float" in the ear - very difficult to describe but they are not uncomfortable like the normal in-ear ones at all.
Noise cancelling is very good indeed and they sound good too - I've ordered some and they'll be here in the next few days. I'll report back. Not cheap though...
Yikees.......£260 on earphones! That's half the cost of the iphone I'll be using them with! I'm surprised there isn't an app to do it lolNoise cancelling is very good indeed and they sound good too - I've ordered some and they'll be here in the next few days. I'll report back. Not cheap though...
