Ipod Classic alternative..

I have had my much loved Ipod Classic stolen, today I went to PC World to replace it, they had sold out.
This is very bad as they were the last shop I knew about to stock it.
I need an alternative, I have been looking at a Filo X5 and a Colorfly C4/C3.
Are these any good, my main problem is I haven't heard of any of these, reviews suggest they sound significantly better than the Ipod, this wouldn't be hard TBH, anyone owned any of these players? is the C4 worth a few hundred quid more than the others?
Alternative suggestions welcome, bearing in mind I want 100GB minimum and ease of use is a must.

P.S No tablets please, I am after something that will play ripped CD's and downloaded podcasts only.

That looks pretty good, I have no doubt the Ipod can be beaten for sound, I went to look for a second one because my car is wired for one, and the storage, the sound wasn't the best.

That looks ok,how does the sound compare to your Ipod? I have to say though, I'm leaning towards a FiiO X5.

To bump this thread, I have now fell in love with the Colorfly C4, any one got one? some bold claims are made about its sound quality.

Problem is, the Classics are now commanding a big premium, secondhand they are as dear as new ones, and they ain't that good, I wouldn't entertain a touch, to much money for to little memory.

Certainly some food for thought with an excellent suggestion off coinSlot.

When my classic went I was dead set on another, now I don't really one one, head says Fillo X5, heart says Colorfly C4.

I thought I would update this, in the end I decided that I had got used to not having an MP3, so I bought some speakers for my hifi instead.
I came very close to buying a Colorfly C4, but couldn't help feeling it was stupid money for what it was.
