Hard disk for cctv nvr system
Discussion
I've gen a gen 8 proliant micro server which I am trialling for cctv use using ip cameras and blue iris software
First impressions are good
I have a 128 go ssd drive in there running server 2012, this typically records for around 24 hours with the high resolution I want
Now in reality I want to increase the number of cameras and the amount of time it can record
I'm after a disk that is suitable for continual high demand, something like a wd red?
Any other suggestions on disk
The box can do raid etc, but initially I'll probably keep it simple whilst I experiment
Thanks
