I have a Virgin SuperHub2 in the lounge and I want to have the ability to have networking in my attic. My SuperHub2 does give a good signal to the attic, but I need to run a network cable for my server. Can I simply get a reasonable repeater / router and configure it to run in parallel with my SuperHub2, so that I can then run a network cable to my server?

Thanks.

Cheers! Do I need to put both into bridge mode? One assumes that it won't affect the wi fi performance of the superhub?

Server is running vmware

I have stty old wiring with old style fuse box, not sure that would work well with powerline adapters?

What speeds are you seeing? Good enough to stream video over?
