I imagine there are a few redditors on here, and this seemed the most likely forum to catch them on!

What do you make of this recent drama, 100+ (apparently) subreddits locking the door including several of the big ones. The whole front page is full of posts lambasting Victoria being sacked, and as someone who thoroughly enjoyed the /AMAs I cant help but support them!

Apparently, she was resistant about the commercialization of AMAs which I agree with, when they turn into public advertisements ran for PR they go from "ask me anything" to "ask me anything about the movie/album these set criteria.

Was watching this blow up yesterday, fascinating how a community of people.... *stuff*/
Described very well. It really is very very diverse. Like Pistonheads has individual forums for each category Reddit has the subreddits which cover every topic known to man - anyone can create on then people subscribe to it, post in it, reply in it etc etc...more popular the topic the more people join.

The CEO is a deeply unpopular women (Ellen Pao) who has a very suspicious past of sleeping, suing & blaming her way to the top. Pistonheads would love her. She seems to be steering the company in an unpopular direction (increased censorship/commercialization if the rumors are to be believed) so the community is pushing back.

edit: For those looking into it, filter on ''TOP'' for the last 24 hours etc, gives you a good idea of what the bests bits of the last 24 hours were.
