Nice surprise from Amazon Prime!
Discussion
Just done a direct comparision test on my Nexus 4 phone.
Can't determine any noticeable difference in "quality" per se playing through the phone's speaker or a Bose bluetooth speaker - neither version has any crackling whatsoever.
Amazon version actually sounds "fuller" and is certainly a bit louder - both are actually very good.
Spotify is downloading at "Normal" quality, Equalizer OFF
Amazon on default settings apart from Download Only on WiFi is checked.

Can you try a different device?Tablet or PC for example.
Does your phone play mp3's cleanly?
Might be worth uninstalling Amazon Music app and reinstalling.

Wow....i'm impressed. I haven't even signed up for the Prime, just loaded the app on my iphone. Logged in to my normal amazon account and all the CD's I've ever bought on Amazon are here! Just sat in the cloud awaiting downloading if needed, or I can play straight from the cloud. It's even got all my itunes music here too!
Might sign up to Prime now to see what all this fuss is about. I don't use Amazon that much, I only use the free Spotify, I don't stream TV. Could it be a waste of £79? Might be, but the fact that it's effectively £6.58 a month means it's not a big deal.
Come on then.......enlighten me......what else am I getting for my money???

Do you have Sky?
Since using Prime I've reviewed and amended my Sky subscription, saving me about £25 per month.
