Replace a Nexus 7 with Kindle Fire ?
Discussion
My N7 (2012) has packed up, without warning. It was fulfilling it's needs perfectly as it only ever got light use -- web browsing mostly, streaming music (Spotify etc), news apps, and the occassional email.
I'm considering replacing it with a Kindle Fire because it seems an obvious low-budget solution. Given the light use it's not worth spending any more than the price of a Fire, and it's not worth spending money to repair the N7. 7" form factor is a must also, and it seems any typical apps that I might require are available from Amazon or can be side-loaded anyway.
Is there anything I'm missing here, or other alternatives at this price point ?
