Nexus or OnePlus?

I've got a Nexus 5 that I'm very happy with but the power socket is playing up so probably time for a new phone.

Nexus 5X is the default replacement choice. Nexus 6P is larger (which I don't need or want) and more expensive (which I'm happy to pay if its worth the extra money). Stock Android is desirable

OnePlus 2 seems to be higher spec and lower price, but uses a variation of Android, and a cursory glance of reviews is littered with phrases like 'unstable' etc.

Any thoughts from owners of any of these or suitable alternatives would be welcomed.

Sorry to hear that the OnePlus2 is not so good zeDuffMan, and thanks for the steer - haven't found many owners.

Also jas xjr and eps, yes I tried various permutations of power source and lead. Sometimes it charges. Sometimes it doesn't.
