Hola,

Currently travelling and both my camera and iPhone have died to varying degrees. Want to replace both with a Samsung mobile handset, however....

Does the OS save photos on the SD card in a 'standard' format, ie the folders etc? Need to know as it will affect if I can upload using my iPad connector.

CHEERS ALL!

It might depend on the specific phone but normally android stores the pics in a DCIM folder on the card (if that is where it is set to store them).

Don't know what you mean about uploading with your ipad connector though........
Spot on, that's all I needed to know. Basically I have an SD to lightning adaptor with my iPad but AFAIK it only recognises photos in the standard DCIM folder format... Ta!

Tapping this out on my new Galaxy S4 wink

I use an offline blog editor on my I pad so it's easier to transfer them en mass then upload as required. Plus they also backup to icloud!

Thanks, just getting to grips with Android but loving it after the restrictions of iWorld... Apart from the apparently appalling battery life of this handset!
