Couldnt see a thread, launch tomorrow, anyone thinking of ordering one ?

Any predictions ?

I may be tempted, I really do like my 6, considering I used to be a bit anti Apple I have to say I really do rate it, even if it pains me a little to do so.

So will us "Sheeple" who cant think for ourselves and are prepared to pay over the odds for stuff Androids do better for less be excited or dissapointed ?

The shiny one looks pretty good, not really wowing me though, wouldnt mind an S but cant fit the bloody thing in a pocket.

The only thing that stops me losing headphones is the wire, am sure the airbuds are great but would need to buy a new pair once a month, or one of them, but guess you cant buy one on its own.

Not enough to tempt me to spend £700 there, or £500 as I guess I could sell the six for a couple of hundred still.

Never sure what else people want it to do when they say it's disappointing? Better camera check, better battery check, new colour and available with larger memory.

Did you expect VR? Built in prostitute? Phones can't really do much more imho I'm happy with better versions of everything. Much the same as when I get a new car it doesn't really do anything new I.e fly but it does do everything better and faster.

Meh haters gonna hate
Its not a patch on the Galaxy Note 7, that can keep your house nice and warm

Excuse the source ... https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/1758227/apple-smartp...

Reports that Apple have massively increased the cost of screen repairs on older phones just as they launched the new phones...
Bloody hell, I was going to take my 6 in for repair today with a Apple Store booking £86 to replace the screen. Phoned them and they have now told me its going to cost £126.44 and because the case has been bent they now want to replace the back so its now going to cost..........

£276.44!!!!!! I won't bother now!
My son dropped his 6 after having repeatedly been told to put it in the case, the camera had stopped working prior to this, we took it in and got told it was the 80 ish if it needs a screen or much more if its bent, long story short they had some issues sorting it that were more to do with their back end systems and did the lot for free.

The service Apple provide is generally very good, having had android stuff you are generally on your own, dont think there is an equivalent of the Apple Stores, ok it isnt cheap as a rule but they do get them fixed.

My missus was due to upgrade to a 7S from a 5S, but has decided to go Android as has never really liked the whole Apple experience.

So we looked at all the options, cant get the Galaxy Note as its a fire risk, she was a bit meh for the others at 600 quid so I suggested looking at the Chinese Android stuff, we ordered her a Oneplus 3 yesterday, looks really pretty good, spec wise it is up there with the big hitters, just lacks the QHD screen but dont think she will notice that, nobody else really does, was £329, if its any good, thats a big saving over the big brand opposition.
