Surround sound - rears only

Wondering how best to tackle this? Not fussed about Left/centre/right by the TV, just wondering how I can get rear surround out of say Netflix movies. It's a Samsung Smart TV if that makes a difference.

I'm a believer in the wire also. Apart from rear speakers, obvs.....

I wont dispute much of that.
However in my situation we've got 3 young kids above the living room & so we rarely turn the levels & bass up that high. I'm just after a bit more atmosphere really
