Microsoft Excel 2007
Discussion
I recently purchased MS Excel 2007. Is there any way to make it look like earlier versions of Excel?
My particular gripe is the way all the controls for the spreadsheet have changed, and going back to the same basic methods for creating & editing spreadsheets that I have been used to for the past 10+ years would make life much simpler.

Annoying isn't it?
I don't doubt they've spent millions on research to prove the new interface is 'better', but a real PITA for experienced users.
Annoying barely begins to describe how I feel about it.I don't doubt they've spent millions on research to prove the new interface is 'better', but a real PITA for experienced users.
The clown that came up with this must have created the early iDrive user interface.
If there was a way of avoiding their products I would do......
But when you do something as simple as use a Netscape browser and have it crash constantly because it isn't 100% compatible with the Windows XP OS you find yourself caught between the devil & the deep blue sea.
