MICROSOFT WORKS DATABASE or MICROSOFT ACCESS

Hi

I'm a complete novice at using both of these programs I currently have works database. Is there any tutorials online.

I need to create a huge database which includes 5 fields to fill in but i need it to be quick and easy to fill in and update is their a quick way of entering data on this? As it seems really fiddly

Is there any decent templates i can just load up into it and then just alter it the way i want when i have i?

If i am creating huge databases is their any other "exceedingly" good programs i should consider? Is it worth getting Access as at the moment i only own Works Database.
