2006 S Class Reliability

Hi Everyone,
After an awful experience with an Audi A8 I'm thinking of buying a 2006 S320 CDI with 90k on the clock. It's in very good condition with full history and only 2 owners.
I will be putting 20k annually on the clock and wondering what these are like for reliability and any huge servicing items? My plan is to find a good independent in Manchester rather than main dealer servicing.
Any advice appreciated.
