2012 C class outer tyre wear

Dealers say its normal and a safety feature!

Basically wanders to the kerb at varying degrees when letting go of wheel, this I accept that mercs can do this but at the same time the outside edge nearside front goes bald. I swapped tyres around at front to even the wear out but at 28000 miles they are shot, although the middle three quarters still have about 4mm left.

Any thoughts is this right.

I'm getting tyres changed on Tues so I'll get the alignment checked just to see if Mercedes are talking ball
