Merc Coolant problem.

I hope someone can help i have a oil to coolant problem in my mercedes c220 1996 whats the posible causes?

Well, unless some has been playing pranks and connected your oil lines to your coolant lines then the most likely culprit would be a head gasket surely?

It won't mean it is scrap if you love it, but it will cost a few quid to fix if it is the head gasket.

I got a 4.6 V8's head gaskets done for £950 including skimming. But that is very cheap.

Lol done a head gasket before on a punto but this is a bit bigger just want to no if its something else before i strip the engine down

Well it could be a cracked block but gaskets are more common.

If it's just a bit of yoghurt in the filler cap, it might just be condensation. A long drive and a few burst of high revs should sort that out.

Dont think its a cracked block no oil dripping on the floor

going to try k seal head gasket repair should no by Saturday morning if it does,nt work its the haynes manual and some tools lol
