Lancia Integrale 16v - any good?

Well obviously they are, but is there any particular reason why the 16v is not as good/loved as the later EVO cars?

Any info/hints/tips/links gratefully received.

The 16v seems to be half the price of the EVO onwards cars - I wondered if there was a step-change in reliability, rust-proofing etc etc ?

I still don't understand the huge price differential.

15,000 16Vs made and 12,000 EVO I and II so it's not exclusivity.

Having owned a Prodrive Impreza for ten years, I know about the serious fun that such cars bring.

I just don't understand the Integrale prices!
