Alfa GTV V6 as a daily

Looking for some back up and if possible real life experience with the wonderful GTV V6.

I've been offered a GTV that I know is a great example so no worries there, I can't however keep my current 147 JTDm as well because the wife will suspend all privileges indefinitely.

I am conscious that it is an older car and currently I do 86 miles a day. I know mpg will be worlds apart but I'm not bothered about that, I am just trying to work out if the car will take it. My 147 has been great so I'm not keen on shooting myself in the foot, because as I say it will have to go.

So an real world experience you may have will be gratefully received.

Sage advice and just what I was thinking really, it needs to be a weekend car rather than a daily otherwise I'm just asking for it.
