Alfa 147 120 - How bad?

Considering a car for Mrs Pop and she likes the 147. She's a new driver so most likely looking at the 147 1.6 TS.

Just wondering - how bad are these?

Honest John's good/bad on them is putting me off a bit.

I know about the revised belt interval. What else should I be worrying about?
