4C Spider Availability

Popped into my local Alfa Romeo dealership this morning for an indication of lead-in. They'll get back to me but anticipated 6-12 months.

Question....given that I want a new car, what advice can people give on the quickest way of getting one?

Does that imply that the coupe is more in demand than the Spider? I assumed the opposite would be true.

Had a browse through Auto Trader classifieds...unbelievable how many 4C's with a few hundred miles or less are available for sale. They don't seem to be in great demand given the limited supply.
