how much for an engineless 156

Hi All,

A post on behalf of a colleague...

lady in question has a 2000 (x) 156 with the 2.0 litre lump in it.

sadly, her cambelt went the other day (at 48,000 miles, ouch!).

Engine is lunched.

She's considering her option and as the office car nerd, has asked my opinion.

Hi, i have read the replies and the other thread, thanks for that... it would appear that the age of the car might be a problem... It's never had a cambelt change. Is the service schedule specific about 'every five years'?
