Chaps, I'm going to buy a project or another toy. I have posted a few possibilities, the last being a jensen interceptor that was a bit too much to do, a stag which didn't do it for me, and a tr6 which was marvellous, but a trifle too expensive..

I've always liked early spiders, what about this one? It's right up my street, seller is an enthusiast, as I am, I've had lots of old alfas, and this one has really tickled my fancy.

Any generic bad areas to look for. I don't mind minor stuff, it's an old car, but mechanically ok as far as I'm aware.

What's a good price, and what's the opinion from the alfisti?

Cheers
Mike.

Really nice owner, complete enthusiast who did infact say that he was happy to sell it to me as I knew my stuff and was obviously an alfa buff

(I waffled on about tuning up my old 33 which I blew up hehe)

Apparently the intake roar is heaven. Two twin choke dellorto's under full beans...ears

I love Alfas but I love Interceptors more.

The interceptor is a different proposition, but needed a full body job. grumpy pockets not big enough...

I think as long as I'm aware the 45's will need constant fettling then it's ok. He's including the carb balancing set up which works well....

I wasn't particularly looking for a spider really, I like interesting stuff....I'm in Bristol...ears but do like old alfa's and this one caught my eye..
