Really stupid and basic question.....

I have a set of yellowstuff pads to fit on the front of the 75 tomorrow..... any major issues involved in doing the swap?
(I've not changed a set of the 75, last car I did pads on was a B5 Passat..... the rears on those are a right PITA).

Workshop manual makes it look like 5 mins each side..... I imagine it's a bit more involved than that, though.

Yeah, it went fine.

Pins were OK, actually. Ignored the instruction to use a punch pin thing and knocked them out with a phillips screwdriver.

Pistons pushed back easily and the whole job was done in less than an hour.

I cleaned up the pins with some wet & dry paper and WD40 before putting them back in with a thin smear of coppaslip to stop them corroding again.

Did a load of work on the cooling system, too - new thermostat and a load of hoses, but broke a plastic pipe on the radiator, so ordered a new one that'll be put in along with a new fan switch tomorrow.
