Well after two years of work and waiting for a website to host it, my car is finally up for public scrutiny.

Naaa!

Beauty is obviously in the eye of the beholder.

I just wish that beholder was me!

Nick

That really is something to be very proud of. A stunning car that I can't wait to see in the flesh.

That paintwork is certainly more shiny than when I saw it! When's SVA then?

Steve

A round of applause is due to that man.

Thenks everyone for the positive reaction.

SVA should be three weeks (just done forms and phonecall)

First show will now be Stoneleigh as Stafford would be trailer only which would spoil the effect

Look forward to seeing a few of you then, should also be taking it to the Caterham Slalom in May at Silverstone.

did anyone notice the clever (bluff) use of the sun on the windscreen to mask the fact it has no seats yet

Cheers

Aprisa,

I opened this thread at Uni, and I wasn't the only one to utter a long, quiet whistle. That is one awesome looking machine!

I'm hoping thats going to be at PistonFest?

Nick,
I've seen the Phantom at shows for years and years, liked it, but thought it looked 'wrong'.
I've suddenly realised that Burgundy and Metallic Green do it no favours...your's is just gorgeous!
See you at Stoneleigh!

Not me. Which seats did you eventually decide on then Nick?

Those interested can also find more details and pics of the Phantom here: www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=112&i=5285 while I'm also hoping to be able to cover the latest Ford based version very soon.

Very Very nice. Have always thought it was a stunning looking car (a silohuette (sp?) of it did feature in version 1 of the Madabout site logo for a couple of years)

Draft your explanations of what it is now though and learn it off by heart. Every 10 yards you're gonna be asked 'What is it', 'Is it a Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus, Maserati' etc etc, 'Did you build it yourself' blah blah.

Perhaps that could be the start of another thread
