i'm with you on this 100%.

i was a 360 spider owner looking to trade up to the replacement model one day but when i saw the 430 spider it just didnt do anything for me at all. fortunately lamborghini then released one of the best looking cars i've ever seen in the gallardo spyder.

talk to any neutral or anyone with some experience of design or engineering & i would bet that 95% of them would agree the gallardo is far more cohesive & better proportioned.

and going by the reactions i get on the road (compared to my old 360 spider) so do the general public.

I agree, the 430 seems a little bit high and doesn't flow that well. They look a lot better lowered a bit. But... I'd still have one.

And Gallardoguy, your car is the colour I'd have mine in nice choice.

Parking a 430 spider in a disabled spot is fully justified. It helps avoid door and trolly dings. Its also usualy easier to keep an eye on it. Furthermore the driver may well have a disability anyway.

Absolutely wrong - it is perfectly justifiable only if the driver is disabled...

Maybe the F430 owner was disabled. Has anyone considered that? Could have had an industrial accident... massive compo payout... "Hmmm, I'll buy a Ferrari"!

Anyway... I agree, F430 is not pretty. I like it, but not as much as the 360 and 355, and the 355 IMHO is the best sounding, especially with a Tubi.

It depends on were the disabled spot is. If it saves it being keyed by some scumbag then its perfectly justified. Its usualy the case that in a supermarket the disabled spaces are wider and nearer the entrance. That actually brings me on to another point. The 430 is so wide that its only polite to park it in a larger space :-)

Its all a farce anyway. Disabled spots are always full in our local Asda but you only see 1 person in a wheelchair shopping.

I think we've found another contender for the most stupid person on PH award.

If I park in a disabled space I get a ticket. If a disabled driver parks in a able bodied space they get nothing.

And this is country where all people have equal rights? Hows that work then?

And just so its a valid post,IMO the 430 is a much better looking car than the 360 and a 355 is better than both!

theres enough haters in the world already. for every 10 people who like an exotic car there are 3 who will make a snide comment or dislike you for being successful.

personally i think theres little excuse for parking in a disabled spot & it only gives the haters more ammunition.

if i take the lamborghini to tescos i do park in the middle of 2 spaces to prevent dings etc, but i do so in the virtually deserted far corner of the car park where few people ever park.

now lets get back on topic about how ugly the 430 spider is!

Perfectly justified, what the hell are you on? You really have no bloody clue do you. Ignorant prats like you really annoy me.

Disabled spots are for the disabled only, period.

My dad was hit by a drunk driver 10 years ago, while driving home, leaving him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
Having spent the last 10 years on & off helping him about, trying to lead as normal life as he can, I can speak first hand on how essential disabled parking bays are.

I have forgotten how many times I have nearly come to blows with arrogant able bodied people who park in these bays. Maybe I am too close to the subject, but able bodied people parking in disabled bays to keep an eye on their cars, to stop them getting dinged etc etc is just using a pathetic excuse to park there, period.

Interestingly both cars were parked in disabled parking bays, and had been overnight. The F40 had even straddled two spaces :thumbsdow .

Selfish conceited tts.

Apologies if they really were disabled though.

I can verify that they were not. These words seem familiar .
