I've heard there was a fatal crash at the Ring today involving a UK reg Ferrari both british driver and german passenger are dead

Does anybody have any news?

There is a lot of concern on Ferrarichat.com as many of the Europeon contributors were there

Very sad to hear the news guys, so very sad.

From an Ultima driver and fast car fan. This has not been a good year!

I feel awful. I met Jens at the Ring last month. I have also met Amar briefly at a VW meet.

This is too close.

RIP guys.

I can't sleep.
We sold Jens his Tubi - I knew him well - I've got a book on Ferraris sent over as gift from him as his way of saying thank you - THAT is what kind of guy he was..
We sorted Amars paintwork out before he went. I PERSONALLY cleaned parts of *that* car... I've got an email about a few days old telling of his excitement of his upcoming marriage....

This is totally messed up - some of us were due to go to that meet...
I'm just sittin here shaking my head and sighing in disbelief.

Manu, I too can't sleep. Weather isn't helping either. Totally messed up, we were meant to go on that trip, and Jens did a fantastic job of organising it all. Very, very sad.

Both top blokes and their beings and enthusiasm will be missed.

Condolences to both their families, such a hard thing to come to terms with.

Just very sorry to hear this.

makes you ponder some of the silly things you've done and then see it can still go wrong even with all things done right, very sad news with families hit hardest

Utter sadness and disbelief, I met Amar a couple of times, he lived close to me , a top fella and full of knowledge about Rarri's and great European routes. I'm very sad at this moment........condolences to both their families.

This has to be the most horrible news I've heard in a long while. I spoke to Amar about 3-4 days ago.... this makes me feel sick to the pit of my stomach.

Jens was another Scuderia Systems customer...I just couldn't belive it when Manu told me the news yesterday.

RIP Jens and Amar.

I only knew Jens - met him with Daz at the ring, ironically enough, last month. A fantastic bloke with a rasping Tubi'd 348. I can't believe I was chatting to him just a few weeks ago and now this happens.

Very sad indeed.

Christ. Just got back and I find this. Met Amar at a VW meet- really, really nice chap. Jens Heller was a frequent poster on FerrariChat, and though I never met him, he was consistently cheerful and enthusiastic. Hell of a price for their love of cars. Desperate news.
