I was on my way out this morning as I live right near Brands - stopped at the lights at the M25 Swanley Roundabout and saw a load of you on your way to Brands.. wondered what was going on so thought I would see what event it was....you all looked cool in convoy  - saw a lovely Orange lotus!! Nice one and I hope you made the record!

So did we do it???? I was told by a marshal on Graham Hill bend that we had been credited with 311....but not confirmed. Any official outcome? Any official pics? Here's one of a few Lotus cars completely filling up the Indy Circuit ! [URL= http://m1.freeshare.us/view/?127fs339]  [/URL]

On my way there I saw a very dead Elise that had spun near Jn2 M2  Hope it is fixable... Good day all! Sorry I didn't get to speak to some of you properly - It got a bit mad there... I'm pretty sure the reason we stopped was precisely BECAUSE we had been logged as suceeding Shame about the GP circuit! They had opened the barriers for us and everything!  If they hadn't shut it we were about to zoom down it! Mwahahaha! You can't show that many lotus drivers an open F1 track and think they won't bite! Unfortunately, they knew that too though! LOL

So the official count was 313....great stuff. And we made Meridian news. On their web site www.meridiantv.com/news/ - click News and select South East for Sunday evening...its at the end of the bulletin.

Some of the stills from the footage taken on the control tower / track side will be up in the next day or so and a short edited piece on the Lipscombs website once the editting of the onboard and external footage has been completed.
A fantastic sight from up on the control tower.
Well done too all those who organised and took part.

LOL Yeah, I was just driving past after being told we'd be coming off after the start-finish line and thought "Hmmm.... that looks inviting!" Just as another marshal was closing it off I was still tempted to squeeze between him and the grass, but I think I may have gotten a right royal telling off

Saw about 35 Lotus's getting off at Clacket Labne services, I thought i would check it out on here and see what was going on. I was in the blue Corsa stuck in the middle when you were parking You guys made my day!!!!
