Honest, personal opinion

Truly hideous.

But if she likes stuff like that, and it's from a friend, go for it.

that is chavtastic my old son.

go to either : Folli Folle - do nice funky stuff and you will find something in budget there.

or tiffany, sterling silver, sure they have something around £100. she will love it, it's the box ya see. overpriced crap if you ask me, but women do seem to love it.

To be brutally honest, both.

It's the fact it's hideous that makes it hideous.

But, if she likes it, don't listen to us. Even though we're right.

Franklin Mint can dress it up however they like but I think it's the whole "ornament" thing that makes it a bad idea. Ornaments for anyone under 60 are generally to be avoided.

Unless you're Big D's sister who loves a bit of Franklin - she once asked a friend who worked for Christie's Auctioneers to take her collection into work for valuation.

Charlie - what was the point of asking for advice and then still going off your own back?

if we thought it was a good idea we would have suggested a nice crystal horse ornament.

Sorry, but you NEED to take it back and think again

Or a WINGED crystal horse ornament.

(I'm assuming it's not an ice sculpture you've had commissioned as a centrepiece to your "goodbye" meal...)

Well said. Vixpy, it's minging, take it back.

I'm really hoping that Charlie is just testing the (brutal) honesty of the PH collective.
