Very nearly did the same thing. We found a three month old Works GP but in the end we opted for the new model MCS.

Hi Jolly

Mod wise: GT Tuning 220 upgrade + Oil Catch Can, Re-route pipe, tensioner pack and GRS Intercooler.

Always been a member and avid reader of Pistonheads but never really posted, just increased post count by 50% :-)

Cheers

ps. remember I have the same alloys as you, and I absolutely love them, like pieces of jewelry...with the poor weather the countries enduring remember to rince off the alloy-eating salt from the dreadful roads!!

I bet that thing flys, I noticed the GRS intercoller, but not the other stuff! With all the stuff on top of the GTT kit, how many BHP is it producing?
On the posting front, all I did was really read for ages, but since I got the MINI I've been posting on here loads, dunno why!

Looks the dogs danglies that mate, you got any more pics of it from the front? I really like that interior aswell! Did the Hi-Fi upgrade live up to your expectations? Glad the R99's are what you hoped for, I'm biased but I think they are one of the nicest MINI designs.
I know what you mean about the weather, I go home from uni most weekends, and after two days driving my car around its filthy, usually wash it before I come back, so it doesnt sit dirty for the week.

With the re-route pipe and IC it should be around 225-230 bhp ... it feels plenty quick enough for a MINI.

hi jolly,

the hi-fi upgrade is worth every penny - far superior to the standard R56 system. This sounds lame, but I cannot figure out how to post a pic on this forum - must be dumb me!!

drive safe, and don't kerb those rims

Tiger,

All you need is to put [pic] infront of the url and [/pic] after the url. Quote my post to see what I've done to host your pics.... To be honest though, get a photobucket account and host them on there, much easier. To host from MINI2, I had to right click and "copy link location"

On the alloys front, the previous owner managed to kerb 3 in 6 months rolleyes Two are only very light scratches on the edge of the rim and one is quite bad, allthough doesnt detract from the wheel. MINI quoted £65 for the particularly bad one, I'm looking at getting it done.
