Archive #28817047
Deeman:

  1. item 1 - Melted/snapped alternator cable ends (needed new spade connector - I didn't bring any!)
  2. item 2 - Fuel Sender cable broke off (needed new spade connector)
  3. item 3 - Bonnet catch popping up (regularly)
  4. item 4 - Handbrake light - annoyingly permanently on
  5. item 5 - Saggy back end - regularly grounding (new exhaust clamp)
  6. item 6 - Worn Steering UJ - too much play to go racing with Max
  7. item 7 - broke relationship trying to stay with max and the T350
mohitos:

  1. item 1 - continue to hunt down the reason for occasional engine cut out / misfire
  2. item 2 - slight blowing from manifold
  3. item 3 - steering rack / UJ play creates small play in steering
  4. item 4 - clutch fluid leak evident once home. Has created a high biting point on clutch. I hope that's the reason for crunching gears.

OldRed_V8S:

  1. item 1 - Brand new ignition coil with 300 miles on it packed up. Old one refitted which ran in perfectly in temperatures up to 35° heat so I don't really consider that a breakdown. [/]man logic

S2ANDY

  1. item 1 - Leak from fuel tank sender unit first noticed at Karlsruhe reappeared on way back.

Engine sounded a tad tappety after a spirited drive down the Autobahn. Will know more in a couple of weeks when I get the car back lol.

v8s4me

  1. item 1 - Mysterious cutting out issue - still a mystery. Not reoccurred since
Friday but will try Paul's paste if it does.
  1. item 2 - Find out why bonnet/wing/door gap has increased & fix.
  2. item 3 - Sewed button back on shorts.

themee

  1. item 1 - Near side wheel sticking out by about an inch past wheel arch?
hvdweerden

  1. item 1 - Bonnet difficult to close , needs adjusting
  2. item 2 - Temp just upto red area, not overheating or geyser. Thinking of more efficient fan..
  3. item 3 - 2-3 times small hesitation, felt like fuel starvation (dirtly filter ? / bad fuel ? )
In fact no real faults ;-)

TopGearTVR OR Juan Brake?

  1. item 1 - Having spent all my money in the go department NO issues here
  2. item 2 - Having spent no time at all on the brakes SOME issues here
mk1fan

  1. - replace blowing exhaust manifold gasket.
  2. - attach driveshafts to wheel hubs properly.
  3. - sort out some half leather seats.
  4. - replace the boot latch.
  5. - one more map pocket on passenger side.
  6. - bottle holder on both driver and passenger sides.
  7. - replace gearbox mount.
  8. - replace diff mounts.
Actually, this is starting to just be a list of jobs that need doing. I don't think there's enough space on the internet for a complete list.

  1. weld snapped zorst after heavy grounding out on Friday - ended up sounding like a tractor. Temporary fix got me home but blowing a bit more after shaving 30 minutes off a 3.5 hr sat nav prediction from Dover to Chesterfieldbiggrin
  2. fit "flexi hoses" donated by Nick the German engineer between the end of the manifold to the hockey sticks so there's more play in the event. Of future bottoming out of the exhaust.
  3. new brake pads needed for CLM
