I made a fixed toolbox for my Sagaris. Driving around in TVR's for more than 25 years have learned me not leaving the garage in a TVR without some tools. TVR's with a boot give enough space to carry some tools with you but in case of T350's & Sagarises , you can see all the mess through the rear window. I know there is a curtain to cover this, but in my opinion this curtain fully closed doesn't look very nice.
So, I made this:

Oh ye of little faith. Nice carpentry, but I wouldn't soil my car with this (or anything else like it). Just get breakdown cover if you've so little trust in your car. I hate it when people mess around with the asthetics like this. Glad it doesn't look like a permanent addition. Sorry, but tools belong in the garage. hurl

Hey, good job you have done there, I take it it is fixed to something so it won't move about.

Did something similiar to the 350 but stuck speakers in rather than tools as my TVR never breaks down whistle

And no, my car isn't in the garage, its away being fixed, AGAIN furious

Wouldn't have it any other way and is due back tomorrow fingers crossed beer

I think you need a van not a Sagaris.
What are you planning to put in the box? If you get a puncture you still need the recovery or can you fit a jack in the box? excuse the pun

Looks good, but not for me I'm happy to believe in the serviceability of my Sag and should Sod's Law be real there's always the AA!

That's some serious box smile I don't need that much of space but I bought a kind of toiletry in an outdoor shop which i fit some tools, oil, cooling fluid etc in. It has a small mirror in it which is attached with velcro; must have been designed to check T350 cooling fluid. Have not made use of the tool bag anywhere else then in my own garage in my own time, fingers crossed.
