The music keeps me from enjoying the video. You can barely hear the car when it pulls away.

Sorry to give you the dissapointing truth......the car was virtually silent. The crowd were shocked and one person commented that it was like an electric car. It may be that it has a valve set up in the exhaust according to load?? Maybe experts on the subject could comment.....otherwise a stunning car in every respect appart from the low end exhaust sound.

I saw this today at Silverstone also...

I guess the answer is in the Swiss plates / ID. Switzerland has much stricter noise-drive-by limits than rest of Euro zone.

Dont worry - '77 exhaust note howls to the point of wondering how it passed any noise-drive-by test..!

Nicely parked - obviously avoiding any chance of car park dents!!

We spotted this walking round Silverstone yesterday, he accelerated as he passed us and I was a little surprised that it sounded a bit like a camping kettle at full chat - stunning piece of machinery though.
The Young Driver AMR DB9 more than made up for the lack of noise as it screamed down the pits straight at the head of the field for the first few laps of the GT1 race. Is it just me being biased or do the V12 DB9s not just sound way better than the rest of the field?

Oh yes! Pure evil in a sound.

I thought the Merc's sounded rough yesterday.
