Hampshire run at the end of June

All,

I live in a lovely part of rural Hampshire, half way between Andover and Hungerford. We hold a traditional village fete at the end June each year. We were looking for some new attractions and I wondered if anyone would be interested in showing their cars?

Perhaps the people on the Basingstoke run the other week would like to have another drive out (approx 25 miles)?

The fete starts at 14:00 and goes on ito the evening, all the usual attractions including a hog roast and a real ale tent

Well, let's hope it's a Saturday as otherwise it's gonna clash badly with the GTs/Tuscans at Castle Coombe or Brands!

The Brands Hatch Tuscan weekend is 29th/30th. I'm certain many of the Tiv owners would want to get to that. I could be up for making a weekend of it though...fete on the Sat. Racing on the Sun.


Brightens up the day thinking of that when yer Porsche is at the menders and the Tiv is broken down by the side of the M3.

Saturday the 29th of June clashes with a few events, amongst them:

Aintree - Sprint Competition
Bedford Autodrome - Track Day
Colerne Airfield - 'U Drive' - Airfield Day
Donington Park - Track Day
Snetterton - Group One Touring Cars
Brands Hatch - TVR Tuscan Challenge

Having said that, I am certain that you could entice a few TVR's out for the day... I would come along for the afternoon run and the fete which I know my other half would enjoy...

Are you planning a demarcated area for the TVR's? How many cars can you cater for?

Anyone else up for this run?

All, we could take 15 to 20 cars. There will a marked off area to park on the fete field so the punters can admire the efforts of all our polishing!

I'll see what the missus thinks -- I doubt she'd object too much to two car-related activities over the weekend -- so long as we're not sited too close to the coconut shy!
