To quote:

"We are selling a 1970 Dodge Charger. The car is currently undergoing a refurbishment for a TV programme.

Year: 1970
Engine: 383 Magnum V8
Mileage: 74350
Price: £24,995 ono

The car is a US import bought in a dry state so it is LHD. Black. Power steering. 4 speed pistol grip manual transmission.

////

////

The bodywork on the car is immaculate and nothing has had to be done to the interior. Underneath it is structurally very sound with none of the rust often found around the suspension mountings on these cars.

The car is in Berkshire. We’re looking to arrange viewers over the coming two weeks. Only serious interested parties please.

If anyone wants further details or to arrange a viewing please email me: matt@attaboytv.com. Please note that any potential buyer may be filmed for the television programme."

Go on, I dare ya!

Thats a stunning car, def one of my lottery win purchases. Shame they're not uprating the brakes though as IIRC they're rather poor in standard form.

Who'd a thunk it! The most expensive car on WD to date (I think), is a crappy old Yank tank.

I saw a Delorean come through a local shipping company with WheelerDealers plastered all over the windows so no doubt that'll be up for sale soon too.

I've met him, nice guy. The 'old aaat yer 'aand stuff is a bit of a joke to him as well I think.

I think the most interesting thing is that the ad sort of debunks the whole "the crew are the buyers" thing that floats around.

Yep - an original piece that, I think! Got a nice bit of retro value to it IMHO! smile

Another Wheeler Dealers fan here.. it's all a bit formulaic and Brewer can be a bit annoying but given the absolute dearth of motoring shows on TV, especially ones that get involved with the oily bits (is this one of the only ones?!) I think it deserves more support from petrolheads!

Brewer seems like a top bloke though and very hard working. I've had my car on club stands at the NEC Classic Car Show, where they run a wheeler dealers live stage show. At the end of the show, when all the punters leave, he doesn't just sod off back to the hotel and leave the crew to do the tear down - he's been on stage all day, and proceeds to help get all of the kit taken down and packed away with them. And the occasion we got to talk to him, he was very friendly. Top bloke.
