So, how many cars are there likely to be going at the moment then ?
I want ot know if it's worth bringing my camera

As I posted previously I may make it if we get our suspension install finished in time. I'll be in an Iris Blue 993 C2, and may have some other guys in tow too.

Oh, and No food for me thanks - just the beer !!

Hope to see you Sunday (probably after your drive though)
Cheers,
John.

Sb, it's looking like I could still be at the airport on Sunday. Fingers crossed I will be back in time.

If not, please accept my apologies.

apologies for not getting back to you sooner - was hoping the longer I left it the more chance I'd have of not being in work! Unfortunately, I am though! I hope you guys have a fantastic day, it looks from my dark office like the sun is going to keep shining,so enjoy, and hopefully I can make it next time!
Have a beer for me

Hi guys,

Steve I got the 355 back on Friday evening just before they closed! But my sister was visiting me from Spain and I had to take her to the airport today, so unfortunately couldn't make it today. I was hoping to at least make it down for the blast but I just got back now! Luckily the weather was excellent and I hope you guys had a good one. I hope you did your public duty and really hammered the cars, perhaps even a little sideways action to please to spectators!

Really sorry I couldn't make it. Was really looking forward to it. If only she had come over next week!
Look forward to the next one.

Regards

Thanks to Steve for organising a great venue. For those that couldn't make it in the end, you missed some cracking sunny countryside. The small convey of 911's looked and sounded fantastic. UV's Turbo 2 made a good impression of the USS Enterprise on a number of occasions. Always good to put a face to a name too. Cheers guys.

I'll second that. Thanks very much for organising this afternoon Steve.

Good to meet you all and to put faces to names, (also to see some beautiful machinery!!)

Should definetely do that again when Domster finally gets his RS.

Cheers

Nice one Steve, very enjoyable afternoon. The view from behind, as they say, was fantastic. PAC provided a very pleasant sound track and the two turbo's upfront provided very pleasant visuals.

Looking forward to the next one

Caught Domster briefly last night, sounds like a good time was had by all. Really sorry i couldn't make it, didn't get back from this Blackpool Stag weekend till mid afternoon and having already driven for four hours couldn't face another couple. The missus also needed some 'attention' after I'd been away for two days.....

Yup, was good fun, although the Rover decided to pack up on the way home - I was chasing Turbofree in his 993TT and UV in the Turbo 2 on the way back to the A24 when my clutch decided that enough was enough. It was on its way out for a while and I was waiting for the next service interval, but full bore motoring took its toll and I was left with slippage above 1/4 throttle!

Traffic was murder on the M25 on the way back - 17 miles of queueing - much worse than rush hour! I think we need to relocate the Parrot nearer High Wycombe
